Grafton’s Meals on Wheels is the worthy recipient of money raised during this year’s Westlawn Charity Golf Day held on Friday 5 September at the Grafton District Golf Club.

Our annual Charity Golf Day is now in its twelfth year with money raised going to worthy local charities.

This year, we presented the president of Grafton Meals on Wheels, Robert McFarlane, with a cheque for $1,033.50.

We had a record number of golfers teeing off at this year’s event in support of our local Meals on Wheels.

The volunteers provide a vital service for many people in our community and as a local business Westlawn is proud to provide our support to this very worthy cause.

Meals on Wheels helps many of the frail people in our community to stay in their homes and maintain their independence by delivering nutritious meals and offering some welcome social interaction.
